As a with a passion for development, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted an internship where I could truly code. Not just making design tweaks in a WordPress template, but building digital solutions that make an impact. After a long and thorough search, I found 35®—a choice that took my development skills to the next level.

A team of experts and a dog as vibe officer

From day one, it was clear: at 35®, you never work alone. The office in Maastricht is filled with experts specializing in frontend development, backend development, UX/UI design, strategy, and project management. Each person has their own expertise and contributes to the high-quality digital products that 35® creates.

And then there’s —the most stress-resistant vibe officer you’ll ever meet. Small detail: Nielson is a dog. 🐶

Code, commits, and coffee

During my internship, everything revolved around development. I worked on various projects where I could expand and deepen my skills. Besides Next.js and TypeScript, I explored Sanity for content management and learned Motion to create interactive animations.

From intern to software engineer

Now that my internship has come to an end, I look back on five months in which my skills have grown tremendously. Where I started as a CMD student with development ambitions, I am now stepping into the world as a part-time software engineer at 35®. My internship was not an endpoint, but a springboard to the next step in my career.
